June Preschool and Elementary Summer Camp News!

Summer camp is exciting at Kachina Country Day! Preschoolers are smiling and giggling in glee from the fun activities in each classroom! Gymnastics, Dance and Water Days are just a small portion of their daily schedule. Some Kachina Kids are pretending to travel to ports like Hawaii and Australia. I have seen pretend airplane rides, beautiful under the sea artwork, and even a luau hosted for fathers on Father’s Day! Session two begins July 2. Spaces are limited.

Elementary summer camp is fun and educational. Campers are swimming, playing tennis, enjoying gymnastics, dance, and computer technology workshop. Students are also traveling around the world. I have heard many comments from our elementary students about how a kangaroo can hop up to 40 miles per hour and go over 30 feet in one hop! My favorite was when a student was overjoyed about how a Kookaburra bird makes a loud distinctive call that sounds like human laughter!

Session Two begins July 6.
