A little bit about the KCDS Preschool Director!

My name is Chelsea Lipson and I am the preschool Director at Kachina Country Day School.  Mostly all parents at KCDS know who I am from their initial preschool tour, or simply seeing me around involved in the classes with the children.   Let me tell you a little bit about myself, my background at Kachina, and why I strive everyday to try and enrich your children’s lives.

This is my fourth year at KCDS as the Preschool Director, and my fifth year of working at KCDS.  I originally started as a young 3’s teacher and it was the most memorable year of my life!  Becoming director has also been very rewarding because I am able to interact with all the children and their activities while also interacting with the teachers, parents and their needs.

I am also very active in the PTO which I think is essential for school growth and communication.  This year I will guide parents on how to become more involved with the school and it’s achievements.  Please join us for our first PTO meeting on September 26 at 9:00am at Paradise Bakery at Gainey Ranch.  All parents are welcome!
